Layover

Focus on the trip. Not the skincare.

Six capsules, already measured — AM and PM, sealed the day they're made. No decanting, no serum Tetris, no math. Tear, apply, get back to the trip.

Minis still eat your 100 ml bag, still mean decanting, and you cut corners on the routine to make it fit. Layover asks you to compromise on neither.

Pocket routine. Same routine, more space.

One pack.
AM left.
PM right.

Cabin air, hotel AC, sun, salt and chlorine — travel quietly strips your skin all week. Layover answers back twice a day: mornings on the left, four capsules; nights on the right, two, sealed under nitrogen the day they're made and untouched until you tear them. The same barrier-first routine that keeps your skin calm and hydrated at home, dosed for the road.

Your routine is already handled. You just have to enjoy the trip.

Full-strength skincare that keeps up with you — wherever you wake up.

Layover day-pack. Square, AM left and PM right, tears in the middle. Frosted top showing capsules, paper-foil bottom, banana-yellow brand stripe.

One pack. One day.

No decanting. No mini-bottle Tetris. No did I bring the serum. The full routine is already in your hand, already decided.

Pocket space.

Sealed capsules, not a bottle of serum sloshing in a quart bag. No decanting, no 100 ml countdown, no liquids-bag Tetris.

Sealed yesterday.

Actives oxidise the day you open the bottle. Your home vitamin C has been losing potency for months. This one was sealed at fill.

Wrapper composts.

TÜV-certified paper-foil. Goes in the brown bin, not the airport trash. Not a leaf icon. Not a slogan.

Inside one day.

Six capsules. Two routines. Sealed at fill, opened only when you tear it.

AM · four capsules

Hyaluronic complex

The plumper

Three molecular weights, layered. Surface hydration that holds through a flight, deeper plumping that lasts the day.

Vitamin C 15%

The brightener

L-ascorbic acid, encapsulated under nitrogen so it doesn't oxidise on the shelf or in your bag. Brightens dullness and stacks with SPF.

Niacinamide 5%

The pore-tightener

Smooths texture, calms redness, reduces visible pore size. The unsexy daily workhorse most routines forget to bring on holiday.

Day moisturiser

SPF-ready base

Lightweight, fragrance-free, layers cleanly under sunscreen. Add your own SPF on top. We don't supply one yet.

PM · two capsules

Encapsulated retinol 0.3%

The repair signal

Time-release retinol in a microsphere, dosed at the EU's maximum leave-on limit — effective without the irritation of higher percentages. Triggers cell turnover overnight. Contains Vitamin A. Consider your daily intake before use.

Ceramide complex

The barrier

Replaces what flying, hotel air-con, and chlorinated pool water strip out. Locks in the retinol while you sleep.

0days

Days the actives have been oxidising.

Each capsule is sealed at fill, under nitrogen, the day it's made. Your home vitamin C has been losing potency since the day you opened it. This one hasn't.

90days

Days for the wrapper to compost.

Paper-foil laminate. TÜV EN 13432, home-compost certified. Goes in the brown bin and disappears. Not a leaf icon. Not a slogan.

In the wild.

Where the pack ends up between Friday night and Sunday morning.

Hotel nightstand with a paperback, a glass of water, and a Layover sachet on a folded linen napkin.

Sunday morning, somewhere coastal.

Aircraft tray table with a Travels paperback, tortoiseshell sunglasses, leather card wallet, a Layover sachet, and a glass of water in hard light from the cabin window.

Cabin altitude is the worst skin event of the year.

Poolside linen towel with tortoiseshell sunglasses, a paperback titled Travels, a Layover sachet, and a banana-yellow ceramic dish.

The only thing it doesn't replace is the spritz.

Cream linen tote tipped open on terracotta tile with a passport, three Layover sachets, sunglasses, paperback, and a striped scarf.

Lighter than the spare paperback.

From the founder.

Layover started when the alternative became unbearable. Minis. Decants. GWP foils. Vitamin C bottles that ruin leather toiletry bags. Eighteen months later we have a wrapper that composts and actives that don't oxidise. The first kits ship in summer.

Eva Lukacova, founder

Honest questions.

How much will it cost?

Launch price will be around €77 for a seven-day kit. Founder-pricing list members lock the day-one price for the first year, whichever way the launch number moves.

When does it ship?

We're finishing the manufacturing run now. First kits go out in Q3 2026. You'll get an email two weeks before yours leaves.

Where do you ship?

EU at launch (all 27 member states, free above €60). UK and Switzerland in the same shipping window, plus customs. US and Canada by end of 2026.

What if I don't like it?

Thirty-day money-back. No questions. We pay return shipping. We'd rather have a fair review than a hostage customer.

Why not just bring mini bottles?

Space and compromise, mostly. Minis still eat your 100 ml bag, still mean decanting, and you end up cutting corners on the routine to make everything fit. Layover doesn't ask you to compromise on either. And since we're on the subject — actives oxidise the day you open a bottle, so a mini you decanted months ago isn't the same product it was on day one either.

Does it count toward my liquids limit?

In the US, no — TSA guidance treats sealed capsules like ours as solid, not liquid, so they're unlimited in carry-on. EU and UK rules define "liquid" more broadly and don't name capsules the way the TSA does, so we're confirming with aviation security counsel before we print an absolute guarantee for European airports. Either way: no bottle, no decanting, nothing that eats into your 100 ml bag.

Is it for sensitive skin?

The AM routine is. The PM retinol is 0.3% — the maximum the EU allows in a leave-on face product — encapsulated, well-tolerated by most. If you're new to retinol, skip night one. Contains Vitamin A. Consider your daily intake before use.

Is it CPNP-registered?

It will be before launch. The full formulation goes through the EU Cosmetic Products Notification Portal in summer 2026. Until then, no product is available for sale, only the waitlist.

Can I subscribe?

Not yet. We want the kit to be perfect before we ask anyone to commit. Subscriptions come later in 2026.

What about SPF?

Bring your own. The day moisturiser is engineered to layer cleanly under whatever sunscreen you already trust.

Where is it made?

Slovakia. EU GMP-certified facility. Capsules from a partner in Northern Italy. Wrapper laminate from a German specialist.

Vegan, cruelty-free?

Yes to both. Capsule shells are plant-cellulose, not gelatin. No animal testing at any stage. Certified by Leaping Bunny.

What happens to my email?

We email twice. Once when the kit ships, once if anything material changes. We never share or sell the list. Unsubscribe by replying to either email.
